Let's Begin Where You Are - With Therapy That Honours Your Pace and Process.
If you've found your way here, chances are you've been through something difficult. You may be feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or emotionally exhausted, stuck in patterns that no longer feel helpful. Perhaps you are carrying the weight of anxiety, depression, burnout, or emotions such as shame, guilt, or anger that feel hard to release.

Many adults seek therapy when stress becomes chronic. Sleep may be disrupted, relationships may feel strained, or life transitions may feel heavier than expected. You might be pushing through each day, functioning on the outside while feeling numb, on edge or feeling distant from yourself on the inside, unsure how to make sense of what you are feeling or how to feel better.

For some adults, including first responders and frontline personnel, these experiences are shaped by repeated exposure to high levels of stress, responsibility, or trauma. Over time, constantly pushing through can leave you feeling depleted, isolated, or unsure how to slow down and feel settled again.

Maybe you have never had the space to truly process what you have lived through. Or maybe you are simply tired or pretending everything is okay. If any of this resonated, please know that your experiences are valid, and you do not have to carry them alone.

Trauma-informed counselling offers a supportive way forward. Therapy provides a confidential space to slow down, tune in, and gently work through what has been weighing on you, at a pace that respects your nervous system, your readiness, and your unique experiences.

Healing does not require having all the answers. It starts with feeling understood, supported, and safe enough to move forward.

You Deserve To Be Seen
and Supported.
Choosing a therapist is deeply personal. You deserve to be seen- not only for your symptoms, but for your experiences, your strengths, and the parts of you that feel unresolved, confusing, or overwhelming. In this space, all parts of you are welcome, including those that feel guarded, uncertain, or worn down by what you have carried.

Therapy is not about rushing change or pushing through discomfort. It is about creating a safe, responsive environment where you can slow down, explore what has shaped you, and begin to feel more grounded and connected. Many adults seek counselling when they are ready to move beyond survival mode and toward greater ease, clarity, and emotional steadiness.

My approach is compassionate and non-judgmental, rooted in trauma-informed counselling and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, alongside evidence-based practices that support nervous system regulation, emotional healing, and lasting change. The goal is to make therapy practical, meaningful, and relevant to your life beyond the therapy room.

With over fifteen years of experience in the mental health field, I support adults navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, and the long-term impact of stress and trauma. Many have spent years carrying pain quietly, often while caring for others or holding significant responsibility.

I am committed to exploring your unique story with you, with care, curiosity, and respect for your pace. Together, we will work towards a life that feels more steady, connected, and aligned with who you truly are.
